Q1 Merges with Community Innovations and the Community Based Care Family of Providers

Community Innovations (CI), an organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), is pleased to announce that they have joined forces with Q1 Clinical Consultants. Q1 began in 2004 with a mission to “Change our Communities One Family at a Time” by offering quality support services to families and individuals whose lives have been affected by a developmental disability. Q1 founder, Matisha Hamilton, said, ““Over the past 14 years we have seen Q1 thrive through many changes that have greatly impacted the service delivery of behavioral healthcare. The driving forces that sustained this company during the toughest times have always been quality care and integrity.” Q1 currently serves individuals in 11 counties throughout the greater Triangle area. CI CEO, Melinda Frederick, added, “”We are excited to partner with Q1. The mission and priorities of Matisha and her team match up very well with those of CI. Joining forces will increase the impact we can all make in the lives of those we serve and the staff who serve them.” CI, founded in 1988, is headquartered in Whiteville, NC and serves individuals all across eastern North Carolina. CI is nationally accredited through CARF and is a founding member of the Developmental Disabilities Facilities Association (DDFA). CI is proud to be a part of the Community Based Care (CBC) family of providers.
